Managing Director and Principal

  1. Graham joined Home Rental Services under Bob Jackson in 2003 as letting agent and property manager. In 2014 after 11 years with the firm Graham and his wife Heather made the decision to purchase the business on Bob’s retirement.

    Graham has continued as the firm’s letting agent – a position which he regards as one of the most important in any rental business – and is also available to meet new and prospective owners to talk through the services and advice that Home Rental Services can offer.

    Graham’s background is in farm ownership and business management, having held directorships in both the public and private sector.


Our Property Managers

  1. Pam arrived in New Zealand from the UK in 2009 and after working in the hospitality industry and residential sales with a local real estate firm, she joined Home Rental Services in 2014 as Office Manager. During the next two years she became thoroughly familiar with all aspects of property management and has now taken over from Eileen Melville as our newest Property Manager - a role she is excelling in.



  2. Phil joined Home Rentals in 2013, coming from a career in business management and economic development, having gained a B.Agr Com in economics at Canterbury University.

    Phil is now thoroughly experienced in all aspects of property management and has a portfolio of more than 100 properties.



  3. Lena joined us in 2014 and is now full time property managing after building up her portfolio and becoming fully familiar with all aspects of property management.

    Her professional background previously was in retail.






Our Office Administrators

Eileen Melville and Carol McGregor are the front office faces of the business as well as handling the office administration.

  1. After 16 years as a Senior Property Manager with Home Rental Services Eileen has moved into an adminstator role.

    Eileen joined Home Rental Services in 2000 as the business started to expand. She and Bob Jackson worked to grow the business in the early days of professional property management in Gisborne and she is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the day to day management of rental properties.

    Before joining Home Rental Services Eileen worked for some years in office administration and customer service sector.

  2. Carol joined us in 2013 after years of office management and administration roles and now has extensive experience in the business side of property management - ably supporting our property managers in their day to day roles.
